Most transcripts are extracted within a few seconds. Playlists may take longer to process depending on video count. AI transcription depends on audio length.
Accuracy depends on the source. Manual captions are typically 95-99% accurate. Auto-generated captions vary by audio quality, accent, and background noise — usually 80-95%. AI transcription via Whisper-class models hits 90-97% on clean audio.
We can only extract from publicly accessible videos. Unlisted videos work if you have the direct link. Private videos require special permissions our service cannot access.

If a video has no manual or auto-generated captions, you can fall back to AI transcription (Whisper) which generates a transcript directly from the audio. We never charge credits for failed extractions.
